/n/ when you never get around to starting a project because your O.C.D. flares up and you spend so long trying to decide which yarn, which needles, what stitch, what color, what size, what pattern, and so on and so forth, that you get disgusted with it before you ever cast on or chain the first stitch. this is also why i have a dishcloth 3/4 of the way done, i realized just now that i purled when i should have knit and i have a ridge across the damn thing and i don’t want to frog back to the mistake but i don’t care to finish it with a mistake. no wonder i have never and most likely never will knit anything more convoluted than a cabled dishcloth. . .
